I am a Senior at Wheaton College, studying Communications Media Studies and Chinese.

Born and raised in Korea, neither of my parents spoke English. I was blessed to attend an international school in Korea but learned English independently. It was challenging to learn English when I did not know anything about it. But now, I am attending college in the states. With the experience of learning English, I learned Chinese and Japanese (and am still learning), and I am currently a polygot. 

My perseverance with attaining a new language has facilitated me to become a person who tries and achieves the goals that I want.
